Who we are
This website (teknodev.biz) is run by Teknodev Bilgisayar Sistemleri Yazılım Hizmetleri San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., Antalya Technopark, Akdeniz University R&D 2, Uluğbey Building, Hürriyet Blvd., 07058 Konyaaltı / Antalya, Türkiye (“Teknodev”, “we”). We are the data controller (“veri sorumlusu” under KVKK) for the personal data described here. For anything about your data, write to contact@teknodev.biz.
What we collect, and why
When you contact us
Through the contact and assessment forms we receive your name, work email, company and your message, plus the answers you gave on the homepage (for example what’s at stake for you). We use this only to reply to you and discuss a possible project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f)). Please don’t send passwords, credentials or personal data about other people.
When you browse
Our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, and keeps short-lived logs for security. This is necessary to run the website (legitimate interest).
Analytics, only if you accept
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, how far you scroll, how you interact with the homepage and, in PostHog, a recording of your session. Recordings mask everything you type into form fields. If you then send us a form, we link that enquiry to your earlier visits so we understand what you were looking for. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK explicit consent, Art. 5(1)).
If you decline or don’t answer, Google Analytics stores nothing and PostHog only counts visits anonymously, without cookies or anything stored on your device. You can change your choice at any time.
Cookies and similar storage
- Your cookie choice (
teknodev:consent, local storage). Remembers whether you accepted. Always used; kept until you clear it. - PostHog (
ph_*cookies and local storage). Recognises your browser across visits. Only with consent; up to one year. - Google Analytics (
_ga,_ga_*). Distinguishes visitors. Only with consent; up to two years. - Session storage (
teknodev:brief). Carries your homepage answers into the contact form. Stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab.
Who processes it for us
We use these service providers, under data processing agreements:
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Hosts the website; processes connection data (IP address, browser) to serve pages. | United States / EU edge |
| Spica (spicaengine.com) | Stores the enquiries you send through our forms. | United States (Google Cloud) |
| PostHog Inc. | Product analytics and session recording, only with your consent. | EU (Frankfurt) |
| Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC | Google Analytics, only with your consent; Google Workspace for our email. | EU / United States |
| Calendly LLC | Scheduling, if you choose to book a call. | United States |
Some of these providers process data outside Türkiye or the EU, in particular in the United States. These transfers rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and, for transfers from Türkiye, the standard contracts and other safeguards under KVKK Art. 9. We don’t sell your data or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to two years after our last contact, unless we start working together, in which case our contract applies.
- Analytics events: up to one year. Session recordings: up to 30 days.
- Server logs: a few weeks, for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
You can ask us whether we process your data and for a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and learn who we’ve shared it with. Under KVKK Art. 11 you can also ask about transfers and claim compensation for unlawful processing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, which doesn’t affect processing that already took place.
Write to contact@teknodev.biz; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK, kvkk.gov.tr), or in the EU the data protection authority where you live or work.
Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it, and forms that write to our database through a server function rather than from your browser.
Changes
We update this policy when the site or the law changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? contact@teknodev.biz or our contact page.
